Concord 4 Installer Code Recovery EEPROM

 If you have a Concord 4 and have lost the Installer code you have a nice ashtray as there is no way a homeowner can recover the installer code without this service.

Concord 4’s are not like other leading brands of security systems that have a way to “BACK DOOR” to the system to get into the program.

This EEPROM has a new factory program that will bring the Concord 4 back to factory settings.

USER CODE -1234

INSTALLER CODE – 4321

To install,1st power the system down.

Find the removable 8-pin EEPROM in the area of the upper left of the motherboard.

Remove the old EEPROM.

Install recovery EEPROM with pin 1 in the upper left of the EEPROM socket. (pin 1 has the little dot next to it)

Power the system up and wait about 1 minute.

You should now be able to get into the program with 4321.

And arm and disarm the system using 1234.

Do not put the old chip back in, the process above does not reset the installer code on board, the installer code is on the chip.

To get into the program you must have an Alphanumeric Touchpad
